Cabernet Sauvignon Pairings Turkey Meatballs with Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 7⁄10 lb ground pork or beef
- ½ cup celery, finely chopped
- ½ cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- ¼ cup mustard
- ½ cup rosemary
- salt and pepper, to taste
- fresh cranberries
- cinnamon
- sugar
- white wine
- salt, to taste

For cranberries, heat the cranberries with cinnamon, sugar, and white wine in a saucepan.

Cook cranberries on medium heat until they are very soft, about 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool, and blend until smooth

In a large bowl, mix all remaining ingredients together.

Combine gently with your hands until just incorporated (do not overmix).

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes, then increase the temperature to 375°F (190°C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Cool slightly, and serve with cranberry sauce.
